SHORT TENDER NOTICE NO. 01/10

 

            Sealed Item / percentage rate tenders are invited on behalf of the Food Corporation of India for the following works from  the appropriate class of approved Electrical contractors registered with CPWD, State PWDs, MES, Railways, P&T and Public Sector Undertakings of the Central/State Governments who have satisfactorily completed during the last five years at least 3 works of Rs.3.00 lac each for at Sr.No.2 & Rs.1 Lac for at Sr.No.3 to 7 in any of the organizations listed in this NIT for registration.  The intending tenderers are also required to submit the current Bank Solvency Certificate from any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank for monetary limit of Rs.8 Lac for the work at Sr.no.2 & Rs.4 lac at Sr.No.3 only. Tender for work at Sr.1 is issued to only authorized distributor & dealer of Bajaj/Crompton make only.

             Tender documents (non transferable) may be obtained from the office of the Asstt Genl. Manager (Elect), FCI, HRO, Bays No. 29-32, Sector-4, Panchkula on payment of Rs. 500/- + VAT in cash for each tender (non refundable) on production of valid registration certificate and valid electrical license etc. The last date of sale of tender documents is upto 3.30 PM on 03-03-2010.

 

            Earnest money in the form of demand draft of scheduled bank in favor of Food Corporation of India payable at Panchkula must accompany each tender. Tender not accompanied with earnest money in the prescribed form shall be summarily rejected.

 

            Complete tenders will be received by Asstt Genl Manager (Elect), FCI, HRO, Panchkula upto 3.00 PM on 05-03-2010 & opened on the same day at 3.15 PM in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives. Food Corporation of India reserves the right to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever or split work between more than one tenderers.
