Purchase and Sales:
The corporation procures wheat, paddy and rice for central pool either independently or in association with state government and their agencies. Procurement of wheat and paddy is made under price support scheme whereas is produced under levy as per levy orders issued by the State Government.

Sale is made under targeted public distribution system and under various programmes like Nutrition Programme, Jawarhar Rozgar Yojna, Mid-day Meal Scheme, Defence agencies, Relief works etc. as per allotment of the government of India. Open market sale is also undertaken to stabilise market prices and curb inflationary trend as per the policy of the government of India.
