FUNCTIONING OF CONTROLLING CASH CREDIT ACCOUNTS

 Regional cash credit accounts:
In the states like Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, where associate banks of State Bank of India are having wide network and are also able to meet the requirement of Corporation in absence of SBI, the Cash Credit accounts are opened with them. In Punjab and Haryana, the Corporation is having its accounts with State Bank of Patiala and in Rajasthan with State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. In order to allocate and moniter the funds Regional cash credit Accounts are opened at Regional Headquarters with the respective bank for each region. The day end balance of each unit office Cash Credit account with these banks is transferred to RCC account. The RCC account is to maintain debit balance up to the allocated CC limit to the Region for respective bank and the overdrawal is to be recouped in case of Haryana region by transfer of excess drawl to RCC account of Punjab Region and the overdrawal of RCC account of Punjab Region is to be recouped by transferring funds from SBI Chandigarh and in case of RCC account of Rajasthan Region by transfer of funds from SBI jaipur.
