Exports:
Continuous awareness created amongst the staff and officers for
quality of stocks has paid dividends. During the year 2001-02, 13.75 lac
tonnes Wheat & 19.53 lac tonnes Rice has been issued against export
commitments. During the current year i.e. 2002-03, the export of stocks
have gone up by 48% & 34% and in terms of quantity 28.17 lac tonnes Wheat
& 57.87 lac tonnes Rice have been issued.
